About Honey & Hearth
About Honey & Hearth
With a background from UCLA’s School of Arts & Architecture, Sherrie approaches interiors as both designer and storyteller—shaping homes that quietly hold the rhythm of life.
Through Honey & Hearth, her process begins with understanding her clients on a deeper level—histories and emotions so each space becomes a reflection of how they truly live. She creates stylish spaces that feel grounded, warm, and deeply lived-in from the moment you step inside. Her work isn’t driven by perfection or trend-chasing—your mornings, your pauses, your rituals, your becoming.
Sherrie moves between structure and intuition with ease. One part thoughtful planner/project manager, one part visual storyteller also coming from work in movie set design, then builds around that emotional blueprint. Raised in Ojai, California and Hawaii, Sherrie’s aesthetic is influenced by the soft restraint of the West Coast—natural, sun-washed, unforced. Her creative lens has also been shaped by time spent in Stratford-Upon- Avon, England adding a subtle sense of timelessness and understated charm to her work.

Interiors with
Soul & Story
Sherrie developed a strong understanding of spatial flow, composition, and the emotional impact of beautifully designed environments at UCLA School of Arts & Architecture. That foundation continues to shape every Honey & Hearth project, creating interiors that feel intentional, functional, and deeply personal.

Drawing from her experience in visual storytelling and production design, she creates interiors that feel cinematic yet deeply livable—spaces with warmth, character, and a sense of identity.

By blending refined interior design with an intuitive eye for atmosphere, texture, and narrative, She creates homes that feel layered, soulful, and effortlessly lived in—not staged, sterile, or trend-driven.
Where Structure Meets Intuition
Sherrie’s design journey began at the UCLA School of Arts & Architecture, where she developed a deep appreciation for the technical structure of space. This academic foundation ensures that every Honey & Hearth project is built on a bedrock of sound spatial planning, flow, and architectural integrity.

However, she realized that a home built only on "correct" measurements often lacks a soul. This led her to integrate visual storytelling into her practice—the same skills used to craft narrative environments for film. By merging these two worlds, Sherrie creates homes that don't just look like a magazine spread—they feel like a living, breathing extension of the people who inhabit them.
